The challenging final run is hosted on the peninsula of Santa Barbara Estate, the most prestigious, private neighborhood of Curacao.
With 100 meters of elevation and many small hills scattered throughout the 3.3 km course, it’s considered the toughest of the 3 disciplines by many finishers. There are 3 aid stations per lap, so plenty of opportunities to stay hydrated with water and sports drinks throughout the course. Any athlete not feeling well should report at the aid stations, the medical checkpoint, or at the medical tent in the start and finish area.
